I have been a member of the Center for Psychophysiology and Education since 2008 and I am a PhD candidate in Special Education and Psychology at the Faculty of Primary Education of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. My PhD work focuses on language laterality in children with dyslexia and uses a variety of methods incuding behavioural and neuropsychological measures, as well as a brain imaging technique, functional transcranial Doppler ultrasound (fTCD). I have worked as a Pychologist in research programmes related to the field of Special Education (2008-2012) and since 2013 I have been  running a private psycho-educational practice in Crete. My research activity in the field of neuropsychology and learning disabilities (dyslexia) have reinforced my research interest in the application of neuroscience techniques to special education.. Also, I have presented several research papers in Greek and international conferences.
